Terms of Use

1. The service

The App is an iOS app for making journal pages from photos and words. We do not guarantee that a generated result is accurate or finished, or that the service will keep running.

2. Accounts

Some features require Sign in with Apple. Only you may use your account.

You can delete the account on our servers with "アカウントを削除" (Delete account) in the App. Journals on the device remain, and the Apple subscription is not cancelled automatically. If iCloud sync is on, journals in iCloud are not deleted automatically either.

If there is misuse or a breach of these terms, we may limit use without prior notice.

3. Premium

Premium is a monthly or yearly auto-renewing subscription. The price is the price shown on the App Store.

Without Premium, page generation is limited to 5 successful generations a month. Premium allows up to 300 a month. A generation counts when it succeeds, and deleting a journal does not give the count back. While signed out, the count is per device. After sign-in, it is counted separately per account.

iCloud sync inside the App is a Premium feature. When it is on, the original stays on this device and the same content is copied to iCloud under your own Apple ID. We do not sell iCloud storage. While it is off, the journal stays only on this device. Turning sync off does not automatically delete a copy already in iCloud.

A period granted by a promo code does not auto-renew. When it ends, Premium generation limits and iCloud sync end with it.

Unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the period ends, Apple charges the renewal.

Cancel in the device Settings or in App Store subscription management. We cannot handle Apple's charge for you.

Deleting the account does not cancel the subscription.

4. Your content

You keep the rights to text, photos, and audio saved in a journal. If you turn on iCloud sync, a copy of the same journal is also stored in Apple's iCloud, in addition to the original on this device.

For text you send in order to generate a page, including a transcript, you allow us and our processors to use it as needed to generate that page. Photos stay on the device and are not part of that permission.

Do not submit content that infringes someone else's rights.

5. What you must not do

Breaking the law, impersonating someone, putting an excessive load on the service, reverse engineering, or sharing a subscription improperly.

Using generation for an illegal or discriminatory purpose, or to infringe someone else's rights.

6. AI generation

What we receive for generation is text and the number of photos. Photo files are not sent.

A generated result is a draft for you to check. Read it before you share it.

Limits, quality, and waiting time can change with the state of the system.

7. Intellectual property

The App's software, design, and trademarks belong to us or to their owners.

8. Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for interruption, loss of data, or damage from using a generated result.

If we are liable for a paid part of the service, the limit is what you paid us in the last 3 months (the amount we actually received after Apple's fee), except in cases of our intent or gross negligence.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of Hong Kong. The courts of Hong Kong have exclusive jurisdiction in the first instance over disputes about these terms.

If you are a consumer in Japan or another place, this section gives way to the mandatory rules of that place (including Japan's Consumer Contract Act) to the extent those rules apply.

We provide the App. Apple is not a party to these terms. Apple handles subscription management and refunds.
